Commercials from the 40th Super Bowl, this weekend, will be available on multiple new media platforms for the first time, including broadband, video-on-demand and iTunes. The NFL Network and Comcast said they are making the big game’s ads available on VOD immediately after the game. Web sites such as Google, Yahoo, NFL.com and Espn.com will also carry selected ads. Technology enabler Maven Networks said that Anheuser-Busch will offer downloads of its Budweiser ads for iPods after the game. Also, Internet video site heavy.com has begun showcasing online banned Super Bowl commercials.
