94 Percent Clearance for ‘Behrendt’; ‘Lopez’ Hits 98 Percent

Sony Pictures Television said Monday it has cleared its syndicated talk strip “The Greg Behrendt Show” in 94 percent of the country for the fall and its courtroom half-hour strip “Judge Maria Lopez” in 98 percent of the country.

In addition, Sony has cleared its live-action educational series “Beakman’s World” in 85 percent of the country, including 19 of the top 20 markets, while its weekend off-cable run of drama “The Shield” has hit 100 percent U.S. clearance.

“Behrendt” has been cleared in 48 of the top 50 markets, including all 26 Tribune Broadcasting stations and stations belonging to Post-Newsweek, Belo, Clear Channel, LIN Broadcasting, Sinclair, Weigel, Raycom, Hubbard, and The CW 100+ Station Group.

“Lopez,” which has been cleared in 49 of the top 50 markets, is being scheduled in existing court blocks for the fall on stations in the Tribune, Cox, Viacom, Sinclair, Raycom, Clear Channel, Acme, Scripps Howard, Capitol, Belo, Weigel and The CW 100+ groups.

The kid-friendly “Beakman’s” has been cleared on the Fox owned-and-operated stations and The CW 100+ Station Group, among others.

“The Shield” will begin off-cable runs on weekends this fall on all 26 of the Tribune stations, as well as on The CW 100+ and other station groups.
