Comedy Central has ordered “Naked Trucker and T-Bones,” a half-hour variety show set in a middle-America truck stop, and “Halfway Home,” an improv comedy about a group of parolees in a rehabilitation facility.

The network has ordered six episodes of “Naked,” which is based on a Comedy Central stage show developed in Los Angeles and starring comics Dave “Gruber” Allen and David Koechner. The network has ordered 10 episodes of “Halfway.”

“‘The Naked Trucker’ has been a favorite stage show for comedy lovers in Los Angeles for years,” said Lauren Corrao, executive VP of original programming and development for Comedy Central. “I’m so pleased to be able to introduce these two iconic characters to the television viewing audience. Koechner and Allen are a force to be reckoned with, and we look forward to hearing their outrageous stories from the road.”
