Diskin Joins PBS Kids Sprout as Marketing VP

Eileen Diskin has joined PBS Kids Sprout as VP of marketing. The announcement was made Tuesday by Sandy Wax, the network’s president.

Ms. Diskin’s responsibilities include driving strategy for consumer, affiliate and interactive marketing, as well as creating cross-promotional opportunities for advertisers on the 24-hour on-air, on-demand and online services devoted to preschoolers.

Most recently Ms. Diskin spent two years as senior director of national brand management for Comcast Cable. She joined Comcast in 2002 as director of communications. Prior to that, Ms. Diskin held positions with The Walt Disney Co. and E! Entertainment Television, where she was responsible for driving affiliate marketing strategies.

Ms. Wax also announced the hiring of Denice DiCarlo as director of accounting, Jenni Glenn as director of public relations and Annie Rex as director of interactive.
