Judge Lynn Toler, who presided over Twentieth Television’s canceled court series “Power of Attorney,” will replace Mablean Ephriam in the fall as presiding judge for the eighth season of Twentieth’s syndicated strip “Divorce Court.” The announcement was made Monday by Bob Cook, president and chief operating officer of Twentieth Television.

“We’d like to thank Mablean for her dedication to and wonderful work on the program, and we wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors,” Mr. Cook said in a statement.

Ms. Toler in 1994 became an administrative judge in the municipal court of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, where she served on the bench for eight years. In 2001, she appeared on the second season of “Attorney.”

“Divorce Court” is produced in Los Angeles by Monet Lane Productions in association with Twentieth Television.
