The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced Thursday that Meredith Vieira, co-host of ABC’s “The View” and host of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire,” will host the 33rd Annual Creative Arts Daytime Emmy Awards on Saturday, April 22, at New York’s Marriott Marquis. There will be a simultaneous ceremony at the Grand Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland in Los Angeles.

The bicoastal black-tie ceremonies will honor the best in such categories as casting; art direction, set decoration and scenic design; costume design; and outstanding children’s series, game show and service show.

The higher-profile Daytime Emmys are being held in Hollywood for the first time. ABC will broadcast the event live from the Kodak Theatre at 8 p.m. (ET) Friday, April 28.
