After a 14-year absence, Emmy-winning actress Finola Hughes is returning as Anna Devane on “General Hospital” as part of a sweeps ratings period storyline that has her dropping in while Luke (Anthony Geary) and Robert (Tristan Rogers) are on the run from the law while visiting the fictional Maarkam Islands. Ms. Hughes will return to the show May 12

“As we continue to uphold the tradition of good storytelling and bringing back our legacy characters, it was a perfect choice to have Finola return to the canvas as part of the upcoming story for May,” ABC Daytime President Brian Frons said in the announcement.
