ABC has named Jill Leiderman executive producer for “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” Ms. Leiderman, an alumna of “Late Show With David Letterman” and VH1 development, wrangled the comedy and Top Ten List segments for “Late Show.” She will oversee all day-to-day production of “Jimmy Kimmel.” She will replace former executive producer Duncan Gray, who announced earlier this year that he is leaving for a position at ITV in the United Kingdom.

“We are thrilled to have Jill Leiderman at the helm of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live,'” said Andrea Wong, executive VP for alternative programming, specials and late-night for ABC. “Her creativity and experience in late-night television will be a tremendous asset to the show, and we look forward to her taking ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ to new heights.”

“Jill is extremely smart, funny, friendly, experienced and a terrific person,” Jimmy Kimmel said. I think she’s going to be a t terrific executive producer, but the truth is, you never know with this stuff. All we can do is pray for the best.”

Mr. Kimmel and Ms. Leiderman have the title of executive producer, and Jason Schrift and Doug DeLuca serve as co-executive producers.
