Sundance Channel said Monday it has extended its carriage agreement with Time Warner Cable and expanded the relationship to include video-on-demand and participation in Time Warner Cable’s new Start Over service.

Financial terms of the multiyear deal were not disclosed. Sundance Channel will make available shows and movies on an on-demand channel on Time Warner systems.

Additionally, the channel will join 61 other networks that are participating in Start Over, a service available to Time Warner Cable subscribers in which a viewer can start viewing at the beginning of a television show already in progress. The service currently is available only in its Columbia, S.C., market.
