According to the surgeon general, HBO may be hazardous to your health.

The Army Surgeon General has issued a warning to U.S. soldiers and their families that viewing HBO’s upcoming documentary “Baghdad ER” may result in post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms.

The documentary, which will be televised this Sunday, chronicles two months in a combat hospital. The highly graphic film shows U.S soldiers dying and having limbs amputated.

CNN obtained a May 9 memo from the Army Surgeon General warning that viewers who were stationed in Iraq “may re-experience some symptoms of post-traumatic stress, such as flashbacks or nightmares.”

A call to HBO was not immediately returned.
