NBC’s adults 25 to 54 viewers have the highest income among the broadcast networks, according to a report by ad buyer Magna Global released Wednesday.

According to the report, NBC viewers have a median household income of $62,000 among adults 25 to 54. ABC viewers’ median income is $60,000, followed by CBS at $57,000, Fox at $55,000, The WB at $49,000 and UPN at $40,000. Network viewers are described as the network’s average audience according to numbers from Nielsen Media Research.

Among cable networks, HGTV was tops with a $69,000 median household income. News and sports channels dominated the top of the list, with CNN, ESPN, Fox News Channel, MSNBC and ESPN2 ranked 2 through 6. Those networks were followed by Food Network, Bravo, E!, History Channel, Headline News and Travel Channel.

Magna excluded The Golf Channel and CNBC because their viewership was too small for the data to be reliable.
