ESPN is expanding its pay-per-view offerings beyond traditional sports. In August, the sports network will offer a trio of PPV events that cover video gaming, extreme sports and poker.

“Inside Madden NFL 07” continues ESPN’s partnership with Electronic Arts and goes behind the scenes of the newest installment of the popular console game.

“X Games Xtended” features an exclusive new X Games medal event (the BMX Big Air Competition) and will be made available after the conclusion of the X Games linear airing.

“World Series of Poker Final Table Live,” as its name suggests, will bring viewers the final table of the WSOP live. The table will later run as part of the channel’s annual edited WSOP coverage.

Previous ESPN pay-per-view offerings have included college football, college basketball and boxing events.
