Fox Networks Group promoted Michael Lang to executive VP, business development and strategy.

Mr. Lang, previously senior VP, business development, for Fox Broadcasting Co., will add Fox’s cable networks to his portfolio and help create new channels. He’ll also be responsible for charting television’s digital landscape and help to identify and negotiate potential acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic moves.

“The combination of Mike’s strong relationships throughout the company and expertise in its many diverse operations are critical to maximizing both our traditional and emerging media interests,” said Fox Networks Group president and CEO Tony Vinciquerra, to whom Mr. Lang will continue to report.
