Grogin Promoted at Fox

Scott Grogin has been promoted to senior VP of corporate communications for the Fox Broadcasting Company. He will report to Joe Earley, Fox’s executive VP of publicity, corporate communications and creative services, who made the announcement Thursday.

Mr. Grogin will continue to be responsible for developing and executing business and communications strategies as well as serving as primary liaison to the trade, financial and business media. In addition, he will work with Fox Networks Group President and CEO Tony Vinciquerra and Fox Network President Ed Wilson on inter-divisional and affiliate relations initiatives, as well as serving as communications liaison between the broadcast network and various Fox divisions, including Fox Networks Group, Fox Mobile Entertainment and Fox Interactive Marketing.

Prior to joining Fox, Mr. Grogin served as director of publicity and public relations for Universal Studios Recreation Group, where he supervised publicity and public relations for the company’s domestic and international theme park properties. He spent several years as a senior publicist at NBC Entertainment, where he supervised publicity for the television network’s series and longform programming.

Mr. Grogin also worked for the entertainment publicity firm Rachel McCallister & Associates as a senior publicist in the television department.
