Television distributors Program Partners and Thunderbird Films have acquired the worldwide rights to the crime drama “Intelligence,” which is slated to launch on Canadian broadcaster CBC this fall.

Program Partners, based in Santa Monica, Calif., already distributes the Canadian procedural drama “DaVinci’s Inquest” in syndication in the U.S. The company will introduce two more Canadian dramas from Vancouver-based Thunderbird Studios, “Cold Squad” and “Stone Undercover,” to U.S. syndication audiences this fall. “Intelligence” creator Chris Haddock also created “DaVinci’s.”

Program Partners and Thunderbird have not announced whether they will offer “Intelligence” in syndication. Instead the companies are “entertaining options” that could make the show available for a cable or broadcast play, a spokeswoman said.
