YouTube, the leader in the rapidly growing field of video-sharing Web sites, made available some new features Friday.

YouTube now includes the ability to view subscriptions from a single page and add videos to a blog via hitting “Blog Video.” YouTube’s members tab has been reinvented as “channels,” enabling users to take on roles previously reserved for network executives.

The new features arrive on the heels of Yahoo! reinvigorating its video site as Yahoo! Video.
