Television producer Cathy Chermol has re-upped an overall development and executive consulting deal with Telepictures Productions, where she will continue consulting on the company’s daytime talk shows.

Under terms of the deal, Ms. Chermol will develop and produce programming for the syndication and cable marketplaces and consult on the second season of “The Tyra Banks Show” and the debut season of “Dr. Keith Ablow.” Ms. Chermol will work out of Los Angeles and New York.

Hilary Estey McLoughlin, executive VP and general manager of Telepictures Productions, made the announcement Monday.

Ms. Chermol returned to Telepictures last year after four years at ABC’s morning news program “Good Morning America,” most recently serving as senior supervising producer. Prior to that, she spent seven years with Telepictures as an executive producer under an overall development deal in which she worked on a number of series, including “Queen Latifah,” “In Person With Maureen O’Boyle,” “Carnie” and “The Jane Whitney Show.”
