Revver, the company best known as the host for the Mentos-and-soda fountain viral video, announced Monday that it has received funding from cable industry players Comcast Interactive Capital and Turner Broadcasting.

Turner invested in a second round of funding that was completed in April. Comcast invested after the round was closed, but its investment has been added as an expansion of that round.

Revver declined to disclose the amount from either company or the total for that round. However, the company said it has raised $12.7 million total to date. Revver provides technology and software that allows video creators to make money from their online videos by matching them with advertisers
