Seabury Takes Post at CBS Paramount

Bryan Seabury has been named VP of drama development for studio CBS Paramount Network Television.

In his new position, Mr. Seabury will help develop new drama series for broadcast and cable networks. The announcement was made Thursday by Julie McNamara, senior VP of drama development, to whom he reports.

Most recently, Mr. Seabury served as VP of television for producer Mark Johnson’s production company Gran Via, where he oversaw all aspects of series development. He served as a producer on the CBS Paramount series “Love Monkey.” Gran Via has an overall deal with CBS Paramount Network Television.

Prior to Gran Via, he served as the director of development for the production company First Move Television, which was then run by Lifetime’s top creative executive, Suzanne Daniels. Mr. Seabury joined First Move at its inception in 2001 after working at The WB.
