‘Prison Break’ Tops for Week in Adults 18-49

An original episode of Fox’s Monday drama “Prison Break” was the top-rated program for the week ended Sept. 3 in adults 18 to 49, which helped the network tie ABC for No.1 in the demo.

“Prison Break” scored a 4.0 rating in adults 18 to 49, a number that includes live viewing and same-day viewing via digital video recorders, according to Nielsen Media Research.

CBS’s Tuesday edition of the summer reality series “Rockstar: Supernova,” Fox’s reality debut of “Celebrity Duets” and a repeat of CBS comedy “Two and a Half Men” all tied for second place in adults 18 to 49 with a 3.2. The Tuesday edition of CBS’s “Big Brother: All Stars,” Fox’s new drama “Vanished” and a repeat of CBS’s “CSI: Miami” were tied for fifth with a 3.1.

For the week, Fox and ABC tied for first place in adults 18 to 49 with a 2.2, followed by CBS (2.1), NBC (1.9), Univision (1.5), The WB and UPN (both 0.7) and Telemundo (0.4).
