Jeremy Spiegel has been promoted to co-executive producer of Warner Bros.’ “Extra,” and will oversee day-to-day operations of the Los Angeles-based syndicated entertainment newsmagazine.

In his 10 years with “Extra,” Mr. Spiegel has held numerous senior positions, most recently as senior supervising producer. He also created and produced “Extra’s” Hollywood & Highland segment, which features celebrity interviews in front of a live crowd. Lisa Gregorisch-Dempsey, senior executive producer of “Extra,” made the announcement Tuesday.

Prior to joining “Extra,” Mr. Spiegel was a senior field producer for the syndicated series “American Journal” in Los Angeles and New York. He began his broadcasting career at Fox Television in New York.
