NBC’s drama “Heroes” received another bump in the ratings Monday night, climbing to its best numbers yet.

According to preliminary figures from Nielsen Media Research, the 9 p.m. drama “Heroes” received a 6.2 rating among adults 18 to 49. The viewership might have been aided by NBC airing a “Heroes” marathon on Sunday to help viewers catch up.

NBC’s “Studio 60” at 10 p.m. rebounded slightly to a 3.2 after a season-low performance last week. Along with “Deal or No Deal” (4.4) at 8 p.m., the shows helped NBC win the night with a 4.6-but just barely. CBS was a close second, talking the total-viewers trophy and earning a 4.5 in the demo with its comedy block and “CSI: Miami” (5.9).

Among the sitcoms, “How I Met Your Mother” (3.6) and “New Adventures of Old Christine” (3.9) performed well, and “Two and a Half Men” won its time slot (4.7), but “The Class” proved the weak link, dropping for the third consecutive week, to a 2.9.

Third-place ABC had “Wife Swap” (2.8) at 8 p.m. and “The Bachelor: Rome” (3.2) at 9 p.m., both of which fared about average for the slots, while the 10 p.m. drama “What About Brian” delivered its lowest rating of the season, a 2.7.

On Fox, 8 p.m. drama “Prison Break” pulled a 3.2, while “Justice” at 9 p.m. performed weakly in its new time period with a 2.0.

The male-skewing shows might have been impacted by ESPN’s “Monday Night Football,” which posted season-high numbers (11.5 in households) for the New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys match.
