Online video site StupidVideos.com has revamped its home page to include a larger video player, improved navigation and additional browse capabilities, the company said Wednesday.

The makeover comes amidst a flurry of activity by smaller video-sharing sites to bring attention to their services. Earlier this week, Blip.TV said it redid its Web site to highlight Web shows and featured episodes. Smaller sites are seeking to differentiate themselves from the 800-pound gorillas of YouTube and MySpace that command the lion’s share of online streaming.

The StupidVideos facelift also lets users create playlists around favorite themes. StupidVideos said it draws about 5 million unique monthly visitors.
