NBC, continuing to gain ratings mileage out of game show “Deal or No Deal” and freshman drama “Heroes,” earned another Monday night victory.

The network posted a 5.1 average for the night among adults 18 to 49, according to preliminary Nielsen Media Research figures, a comfortable lead on second-place CBS (4.6).

“Deal” garnered its highest rating all season (5.5) in the 8 p.m. hour, followed by a strong “Heroes” (6.5). “Studio 60,” which received a full-season order last week, continued to struggle with a 3.2, but improved on total viewers (its largest audience in more than a month) and adults and women 18 to 34.

CBS was above par with most of its comedy block, consisting of “How I Met Your Mother” (3.4), “The Class” (3.0), “Two and a Half Men” (4.9) and “Old Christine” (3.8). In the 10 p.m. hour “CSI: Miami” pulled a season-high 6.2.

Fox jumped up to third place thanks to “Prison Break,” pulling its strongest number in almost two months (3.8), followed by a “House” rerun (3.3).

Despite leading the weekly ratings, Monday continues to be an Achilles heel for ABC, which was in fourth place. “Wife Swap” continues to fatigue, delivering its lowest rating of the season (2.6), and “The Bachelor: Rome” was in third place for the 9 p.m. hour with an on-par 3.4. The drama “What About Brian” at 10 p.m. posted its lowest rating to date (2.5).

The CW’s comedy block had “Everybody Hates Chris” (1.2), “All of Us” (1.3), “Girlfriends” (1.4) and “The Game” (1.1).
