Lifetime Television opted not to renew its first-year series “Angela’s Eyes” and “Lovespring,” a spokesman said.
The network is picking up “Army Wives,” a series starring Kim Delaney and Catherine Bell, the spokesman said Thursday. The show is produced by The Mark Gordon Co. and Touchstone Television.
Lifetime last week announced plans to air a new reality show “Gay, Straight or Taken?”
A spokesman for the network said that while “Angela’s Eyes” and “Lovespring” attracted some new younger viewers, their overall audience didn’t justify bringing the shows back for another season.
