Tribune Co. announced Tuesday that it has completed the sale of WLVI-TV in Boston to Sunbeam Television, which also owns Boston’s NBC-affiliated WHDH-TV, for $113.7 million.

Earlier in the month, Tribune also completed the sale of WCWN-TV in Albany, N.Y., to Freedom Communications for $17 million. This year, the company has sold or agreed to sell approximately $450 million of non-core assets, $50 million short of the goal it had set of at least $500 million.
