CBS and DirecTV signed a multiyear deal extending DirecTV’s out-of-market game package during the NCAA Men’s basketball tournament.

DirecTV also agreed to expand carriage of CBS’s CSTV, which will now reach more than 8 million DirecTV subscribers and 20 million in total.

DirecTV’s NCAA Mega March Madness Package gives subscribers exclusive access to up to 37 out-of-market broadcasts produced by CBS during the first three rounds of the championship.

“From its inception, exclusive sports programming has set DirecTV apart as the leading multichannel provider of the world’s most important and exciting sporting events,” DirecTV President and CEO Chase Carey said in a statement Monday. “The NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship is one of those unique events that captures the attention of sports fans throughout the country and DirecTV will bring our customers every upset, buzzer-beater and Cinderella story.”
