Lifetime Television renewed its reality series “Lisa Williams: Life Among the Dead” for a second season.

The show is the first new original program to be renewed since Susanne Daniels joined Lifetime Entertainment Services as entertainment president in September 2005.

“The outpouring of letters and e-mails we have received from fans of Lisa, and the show, has been overwhelming,” said Ms. Daniels in a statement Wednesday. “We are thrilled that her vibrant and fun-loving personality has connected with our viewers.”

The series is produced by Merv Griffin Entertainment in association with Kimo Jagger Productions for Lifetime Television.
