CNN’s David Bohrman now has a “senior” in front of his three-year-old title of VP of news and production and Washington, D.C., bureau chief.

The all-news network’s special event coverage unit now reports to Mr. Bohrman.

“David’s promotion focuses and solidifies CNN’s political coverage as we enter the presidential election cycle,” said CNN/U.S. President Jon Klein, in an announcement.
