Nielsen processing delays for Wednesday night ratings frustrated networks, but when the ratings came in they were pretty much what everybody expected: “American Idol” once again ruled the night.

Fox had three of the top four shows last night, with “Bones” (3.7 rating among adults 18-49), and “Idol” results show (10.9) and “Til Death” (6.3).

ABC claimed second with the now-cancelled “Great American Dream Vote” (1.5), “According to Jim” (1.9), “In Case of Emergency” (1.9) and “Lost,” whose 5.1 hit yet another series low and declined for the fourth straight week).

CBS placed third with “Jericho” (2.5, the show’s best number since it returned from hiatus in February) and repeats.

NBC had “Friday Night Lights” (2.0), “Crossing Jordan” (1.9) and “Medium” (2.4).

The CW had an on par “America’s Next Top Model” (2.5) and a repeat “Pussycat Dolls.”
