Against a repeat-strewn schedule, Fox’s “American Idol” dominated last night for another Tuesday win.

The two-hour “Idol” earned an 11.5 rating among adults 18 to 49, according to preliminary Nielsens. That’s up 6 percent from last week.

The only other original entertainment program on the broadcast networks last night was the second episode of The CW’s “Pussycat Dolls: Search for the Next Doll.” The reality series scored a 1.1 rating, down 35 percent from its debut last week.

Fox won the night, followed by distant second CBS, which aired repeats. NBC was third with an original “Dateline” (2.0) and repeats. ABC was fourth with an original “Primetime” (1.8) and repeats.
