The U.S. Navy signed a sponsorship agreement that make it the title sponsor of GolTV‘s weekly show “American Soccer.”

Under the deal, the soccer network’s Wednesday night show will become “American Soccer Powered by the Navy.” The show’s set will be changed to reflect Navy graphics and it will sponsor Navy-themed vignettes called “On the Radar.” Before commercials, the network will run “Did you know?” blurbs featuring Navy trivia.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Navy is trying to reach males 18-34, according to the network.

“We are very pleased to work with GolTV,” Commander David Hostetler, advertising plans director for the Navy, said in a statement Tuesday. “We appreciate the station’s fresh approach to breaking through advertising clutter and hope that this new partnership will allow for more meaningful interactions with our target.”
