ABC topped the Nielsen ratings for another Monday night with 90-minute episodes of “Dancing With the Stars” and “The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman.”
Winning in adults 18 to 49 and total viewers, ABC’s “Dancing” had a 4.9 rating in the demo, while “Bachelor” had a 3.5. Both were on par.
CBS was second with its comedy block, including average-performing originals of “The New Adventures of Old Christine” (2.6), “Two and a Half Men” (4.4) and “The King of Queens” (4.5). “CSI: Miami” matched its series low (4.7).
Fox came in third with the time-period premiere of “Drive” (2.3, falling 12 percent from its two-hour Sunday bow). Without its usual “Prison Break” lead-in, “24” posted its lowest rating since February 2004 (4.3).
On NBC, “Deal or No Deal” had a 3.2, followed by “Thank God You’re Here,” which slipped in its second week, down 19 percent from last Monday’s two hour debut to a 2.9. At 10 p.m., NBC preempted repeats for “Dateline” coverage of the Virginia Tech shootings (2.5).
The CW aired repeats of its comedy block (0.8 average).
