(Correct “Heroes” Rating)

“CSI: Miami” kicked sand in the face of ABC’s “The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman.” The return of NBC’s “Heroes” overcame Fox’s “24.” But 90 minutes of “Dancing With the Stars” was enough to put Monday night in ABC’s win column.

According to data from Nielsen Media Research,” “Dancing” averaged a 5 rating in the 18 to 49 demo and 8.1 million total viewers. ABC dropped to a 3.5 in the demo and 9.8 million viewers for the 90 minutes of “Bachelor.” For the night, ABC led with a 4.1 demo and 14.1 million viewers.

CBS averaged a 3.8 demo and 11.9 million viewers for the night, finishing with the evening’s biggest show, “CSI: Miami,” which averaged 5.1 in the demo and 16.7 million viewers.

“Heroes” proved to be the high point (with a 5.3 in the demo and 12 million viewers) and the new “Wedding Crashers” the low (3.1 in the demo and 7 million viewers) of NBC’s night, which averaged 3.9 in the demo and 10 million viewers.

On Fox, “24” finished fourth in the 9 p.m. timeslot. After starting in slow motion with “Drive” (1.6 demo, 4.8 million viewers), Fox finished with a prime-time average of 2.8 in the demo and 7.5 million viewers.

The CW averaged a 1.2 demo and 2.6 million viewers.
