AZN Asian Excellence Awards Sets Hosts, E! Special

“Lost’s” Daniel Dae Kim and “Battlestar Galactica’s” Grace Park are set to host the 2007 AZN Asian Excellence Awards, which celebrates the achievements of Asians and Asian-Americans who have profoundly impacted American culture.

The event will also celebrate food, fashion and fun with special tributes to Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, fashion designer Vivienne Tam and actor Chow Yun-Fat. Mr. Chow will receive the Lifetime Achievement award for over 20 years of work in the TV and film industry; Ms. Tam will be honored with the Visionary Award; and the Pioneer award will be given to Mr. Nobu.

AZN will also roll out the red carpet with E! Entertainment Television for online updates and an hour-long special with encompassing arrivals, behind-the-scenes glimpses and highlights from the celebration.

The segment will air on May 24 at 6 p.m. ET/PT as a preview for the actual awards, which will be taped live May 16 at UCLA’s Royce Hall and will air on AZN Television May 28 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
