As part of its online video syndication strategy, CBS Interactive inked deals with several social media technology providers to enable consumers to embed CBS clips on their Web pages.
CBS’ new partners include MeeVee, Ning and VideoEgg. They provide the tools to let users insert short-form and viral CBS-provided clips into MySpace pages, blogs and Web sites.
Under the agreement, CBS also will enable existing partners AOL, Brightcove, Netvibes and Veoh Networks to let their users insert CBS clips into Web pages and offer social tools around the content.
