Joost Starts Online Video Service

Joost officially launched its online video service today, and said it will add programming from Turner Broadcasting networks including Adult Swim and CNN to its content lineup later this week.
As part of the launch, Joost said it’s running ad campaigns from 32 companies starting this month, including Coca-Cola, HP, Intel and Nike.
In addition to the Turner deal, Joost also will add content from Hasbro, the National Hockey League, Sports Illustrated and Sony Pictures Television later this month.
The Turner content includes episodes of “Aqua Teen Hunger Force” and “Robot Chicken” and CNN programs “Anderson Cooper 360” and “Larry King Live.” The Sony television content includes classic series such as “Charlie’s Angels,” “Spiderman” and “Starsky & Hutch.”
