ABC won Sunday night with the top three shows, while NBC got a ratings boost from their “Saturday Night Live” special.
ABC took command with their regular lineup of “Extreme Makeover” (4.3), “Desperate Housewives” (6.5) and “Brothers & Sisters” (4.3), all about in line with recent performances.
CBS was second in the demo and first in households for the night, coming down with the season finales of “Amazing Race: All Stars” (3.3) and “Cold Case” (3.2), as well as an original “Without a Trace” (3.7). The procedurals had their best ratings in about a month.
Fox was a tenth of a point away from second place with its animated block, led by “Simpsons” (3.7) and “Family Guy” (3.8), as well as “King of the Hill” (1.9) and “American Dad” (2.9).
NBC was fourth with “Deal or No Deal” (2.2) and the two-hour special “Saturday Night Live in the ’90s” (3.6), which gave the network its best time-period performance in four months.
The CW had an original episode of “7th Heaven” (1.0).
