Litton Entertainment has tapped Marc Brody as executive vice president of distribution. Mr. Brody will be based in Litton’s New York offices.
“Marc Brody’s experience at working with studios, in strip television and with news divisions is the perfect match for us,” said Dave Morgan, president and CEO of Litton Entertainment. “We received high-level recommendations for Marc from broadcasting group heads, cable company presidents and from the programming community at large.”
Mr. Brody brings more than 20 years of experience to the table as an executive in television sales and management for companies including Universal Television, New Line Television and Cablevision. He most recently worked at Westwood One/Metro TV in New York, where he was VP of television. Before that, he was VP sales, Northeast, Universal Television.
“I am very excited to get started working with Dave Morgan at Litton Entertainment,” said Mr. Brody. “He has found a way to make television shows that broadcasters and cable networks can be proud of — from ‘NASCAR Angels’ to Jack Hanna, the list goes on and on. For 20 years, Litton has been very successful in a land of giants because Dave thinks outside the box and understands what kind of programming advertisers want to be a part of.”
