The second episode of Fox’s “Hell’s Kitchen” cooked the competition Monday night, firing up a 4.2 rating among adults 18 to 49, according to preliminary Nielsen data. The series was up 14 percent from its debut last week, its best non-finale performance to date.
Continuing Fox’s summer reality reign, the network won the night in the demo, though CBS and NBC were higher among households.
CBS was second among adults 18 to 49, starting with the animated series “Creature Comforts” (1.4), which was down 22 percent from its premiere.
Repeats filled out the rest of Fox’s and CBS’s schedule. NBC had repeats and a special “Dateline” (2.4). ABC was fourth with repeats and an original “Ex-Wives Club” (1.5), the latter was down 32 percent from last week. The CW aired repeats.
