Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution has tapped veteran Warner Bros. Entertainment business operations executive Andy Lewis as executive VP and general administrative manager of WBDTD.
In his new role, Mr. Lewis will oversee all business operations, including finance, administration, planning and analysis for the company.
He comes to WBDTD after a decade at Warner Bros. Animation and will report to WBDTD President Ken Werner.
“Wherever Andy has worked, he has had a tremendously positive impact. He is an incredibly talented executive, a creative and resourceful strategist with a broad and deep understanding of the television business,” said Mr. Werner. “I have had the pleasure of working with him, on and off, for the past 20 years, and am thrilled to have him join the WBDTD team.”
An accomplished executive with more than two decades of experience in the entertainment industry, Lewis most recently was executive vice president and general manager of WBA. While there, he oversaw all operational aspects of the animation studio, including finance, planning, business affairs and facilities. He was promoted to executive VP in 2004, after serving seven years as WBA’s senior vice president and general manager.
