Drum roll, please! TelevisionWeek is introducing a revamped Web site at TVWeek.com to better showcase its coverage of the TV industry and the community that loves the medium.
The new TVWeek.com constitutes a quantum leap forward in our delivery of news, video and opinion on the Web.
It adds features such as an enhanced video player and TV BuzzTracker, which scours 90,000 blogs and Web sites for the most talked-about television stories on the Web. TVWeek.com will also gain the ability to host live chats. Users will be able to comment on any article on the site, and share it with popular social networking sites such as Digg and del.icio.us .
All these features are wrapped up in a new design that pops off the screen.
Since TelevisionWeek was founded 25 years ago as Electronic Media, the publication has changed to fit the evolution of the business. The new TVWeek.com will let us do a better job than ever of leading coverage of the tectonic shifts rattling the television industry.
Let us know what you think of our new design by leaving your comments below. We’re still working out a few bugs and we’re keen to read your feedback.

  1. Great !!

  2. I like the new TV BuzzTracker, but I wish the layout on the front page were a little different. Maybe have the latest news listed horizontally across the top of the page with ads and other stuff on either side? It’s a bit busy.

  3. Just curious what happened to Newsmakers and Classifieds? Will they still appear on your website?

  4. Newsmakers and classifieds will be back soon!

  5. Big improvement. Easier to navigate and identify stories of interest. I particularly like the new player feature in the Viral Video newsletter that allows the user to click directly to the clip’s video player.

  6. Very professional…very dynamic. It kind of has a texture “feel” of the TV business! Well done.

  8. I really like the colors here on your blog. did you design this yourself or did you outsource it to a professional?

  9. Nice blog here! Also your website loads up fast! What host are you using? I wish my website loaded up as fast as yours lol

  10. Thanks much for the great document. I am glad I’ve taken the time to learn this.

  11. You made a number of good points there. I did a search on the subject matter and found a good number of persons will go along with with your blog.
