Newly hired NBC co-chair Ben Silverman has tapped fellow Reveille executive Teri Weinberg to head scripted development at NBC.
As executive VP, Ms. Weinberg will oversee NBC Entertainment’s scripted programming. She previously served as executive VP of scripted programming at Reveille and is also an executive producer for “Ugly Betty” and co-executive producer of “The Office.”
“Teri is the best creative executive I know,” Mr. Silverman said. “She has been an unbelievable partner and I can’t wait for her to bring her passion and taste to the network.”
Ms. Weinberg will essentially assume the duties of Katherine Pope, who has been appointed the new head of NBC Universal Television Studio.
Ms. Weinberg has been with Reveille since its inception in 2002. Prior to Reveille, she was a television agent at ICM.
