NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution has named Kimberly Kleid as vice president, programming and development, where she will work on development for first-run syndication. In addition, she will oversee cable and talent development on the West Coast.
“Kim is a major asset to the programming department,” said Linda Finnell, the distributor’s senior VP of programming and development. “Having worked on a variety of shows and overseeing programming and development on many of our first-run shows, this promotion is well deserved.”
Ms. Kleid started her career at NBC in 2003 as manager of development and talent, overseeing production and distribution for “Super Agent” for Spike TV and the launch of “Home Delivery.” Ms. Kleid soon moved up the ranks to director of programming and development, where she oversaw the development and day-to-day production for “The Megan Mullally Show.”
“I am thrilled to continue my career at NBC Universal with this division, and I look forward to creating great programming with the wonderful team here,” Ms. Kleid said.
