‘Musical’ Mania Pumps Up Rerun’s Ratings

The night before the premiere of Disney Channel’s much-anticipated “High School Musical 2,” a rerun of the original “High School Musical” drew more than 6 million total viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research.
That was the most-watched show on cable Thursday night and topped all but four shows on broadcast.
USA’s “Burn Notice” drew a 1.6 rating, making it the top show among adults 18 to 49 on cable. “High School Musical” ranked third in the demo with a 1.2 rating.

  1. I am 12 years old and i watched high school musical 2 the permire night on August 17th 2007. The reason wy it got SO many rating and SO many pople watched it beacsue it wasn’t just a movie, it was a hit. Kids all over the globe will tell there kids and there kids the movie that started somthing new. Kids will always be kids. =D
