MySpace.com is getting into the presidential debates business, following YouTube’s lead.
The social networking site partnered with MTV to create an interactive and real-time “presidential dialogue series.” The series will launch Sept. 27 with a dialogue featuring former senator and presidential hopeful John Edwards.
The events will take place at college campuses and will air on MTV, MTVu and MySpaceTV. The dialogues are designed to be “unfiltered discussions” between young people and the major candidates.
Viewers can submit questions via MySpace and e-mail to enable live feedback.
YouTube and CNN struck a partnership earlier this year to carry the presidential debates.
