Alexis Glick has been named vice president of business news for Fox Business Network, which launches Oct. 15 to more than 30 million cable subscribers. She will report to Senior VP and Managing Editor of Business News Neil Cavuto.
“Alexis has made a tremendous contribution in determining the strategy and content of FBN and its core properties, and we look forward to her serving as one of our main editorial voices on the network,” Fox News Executive VP Kevin Magee said in Wednesday’s announcement.
Ms. Glick said, “I’m proud to play a role in developing business news coverage for FBN, which provides me with the opportunity to utilize my strengths in news anchoring as well as my Wall Street expertise.”
Ms. Glick was an executive director who headed New York Stock Exchange floor operations at Morgan Stanley before joining CNBC. She also spent some time as a member of NBC’s “Today” show.
She joined Fox News as director of business news in September 2006.
