Gray Television Picks Pixsy for Video Search

Video search service Pixsy partnered with Gray Television to use Pixsy’s technology across the group’s 30 TV station Web sites.
Under the deal, Pixsy will combine Gray’s video content with Pixsy’s aggregated video content from across the Web, drawing search results from both sources.
The deal is one of the first between a TV station group and a video search service.
Pixsy is one of a handful of companies angling to become the dominant video search service. The video search business is still nascent, with several startups and big media players such as Google and Yahoo aiming for market share.
