Oxygen said it completed a six-figure ad deal with Home Depot through the eBay online ad sales exchange.
While most cable network initially boycotted the eBay system, Oxygen in August became the first network to make a deal via eBay, selling commercials to Intel.
Later TV One also made a deal with Home Depot through eBay.
Intel, Home Depot and a group of other advertisers are backing the eBay system in the hope of finding a simpler, more efficient way to buy ads.
Mary Jeanne Cavanagh, executive VP of ad sales for Oxygen, said the buy mostly covers the fourth quarter, and that Home Depot is a new advertiser on the network.
“They are starting to target a female shopper,” she said. “We hope to expand the relationship.”
