QuickTakes: Did ‘Kid Nation’ live up to all the hype?

“Personally, I feel that these kids aren’t ‘suffering’ or experiencing anything more than I did while away at sleep-away camp. We lived in tents and cabins right alongside spiders and mice, had chores to do each day and formed a unique community and bond in a situation among a very limited adult presence. And we didn’t get to earn gold stars worth $20,000. I have no doubt that these kids are just about having the time of their lives.” — Liz Levenson, manager of programming, CABLEready
“I think the show has aspects that are interesting and compelling to watch, but I was expecting much more drama and more drastic situations based on all the hype and buzz prior to the debut.” — Doug Z. Goodstein, executive producer, Howard TV on Demand, iN DEMAND Networks

  4. Building a Mosque at Ground Zero has to be the ridiculous plan within the history of humanity, I very seriously believe it to be purposely conceived, at very best, to insight conflict. I am not really a conspiracy theorist nevertheless this really is possibly shameful or hateful, quite possibly the two. wanda
